Ran by Matt Dudley and his partner Jazz Barnett, from Dilhorne, Dudley's Butchers opened on 25 March.

Matt told Stoke Nub News: "We've had a very busy start, the feedback has been really positive and everyone has said how cheap and good-quality the meat is.

"We've even had people travel from Derby for our sausages which I make by hand and in different flavours."

The farm shop sells locally-sourced cheeses, pies and cakes (Nub News).

The Cheadle Road venue also has a farm shop as well as a butchers, which sells a range of locally-sourced produce, including cheeses from Staffordshire Cheese Company (based in Cheddleton), cooked meats, pies, and Cottage Delight jams, chutneys and sauces.

Matt said: "The farm shop sells out every day, we're having to get a lot of deliveries of the pies and things like that because we just keep selling out of everything."

Matt said that people have travelled from Derby for his sausages (Nub News).

Dudley's Butchers is open Monday-Saturday 8am-4.30pm.
