Car dealer group, Swanway, has exceeded egg-spectations this year with their generous donations to two Staffordshire charities - The Gingerbread Centre and Staffordshire Women's Aid.

Their Easter Patrol saw the group donate Easter gifts not only to charities in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, but across the UK too.

Swansway donated Easter eggs as well as essential items such as toiletries, gardening supplies, household items and food to those in need.

Swansway Motor Group Director, David Smyth, said: "As always, our aim is to support our charity partners in a way that best suits them, tailoring our donations is one way that we can achieve this.

"What's most important to us is seeing the smiles on the faces of those we have helped."

The Gingerbread Centre is based on Furnace Road, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent (Google).

Having developed strong relationships with The Gingerbread Centre and Staffordshire Women's Aid, Swansway liaised directly with the charities to collate a bespoke list of donations, with the understanding that each charity should receive items that suit their individual needs.

Charlotte Almond, Chief Executive at Staffordshire Women's Aid said: "Huge thank you for the wonderful donations we received from Swansway Motor Group as part of their Easter campaign.

"They've donated pots and pans and some wonderful gardening supplies for children - all wonderful and very thoughtful."
