Stoke-on-Trent's leading shopping centre, The Potteries Centre, Hanley, has confirmed that its popular Selfie Room is set to make a comeback this Easter.

The Selfie Room, made up of four individually-themed 'selfie rooms', first launched in November 2022, introducing visitors to a series of themes rooms set-up to give visitors the opportunity to grab some unique, seasonal photographs.

As well as being free, this year's installation will run from 1 – 16 April and will see the Selfie Room get an Easter makeover.

Visitors to the centre this spring will find a neon bunny ears backdrop, a spring bench and a backdrop featuring hanging Easter eggs, as well as a picturesque spring field backdrop.

Meanwhile, the centre will also launch a free Easter Egg Hunt set to take place at various locations.

The installation will be open from 1-16 April (The Potteries Centre).

Those taking part can collect their map of the centre from the Selfie Room unit, located on the upper mall near Footasylum, where visitors will also find a colouring station. Upon completing the trail, visitors will receive a certificate to commemorate the occasion.

Commenting on the upcoming Easter activities, Amy Whittaker, centre manager at The Potteries Centre, said:

"Following the success of our free Half Term activities in February, we're delighted to be unveiling yet another series of free events for Easter that we're confident our visitors will love.

"While the school holidays are the perfect opportunity to spend some quality time together, it can often be an expensive time for parents who are looking for the best ways to keep their little ones entertained. That's why we're pleased to be lending a helping hand to those parents again this Easter, offering some truly memorable experiences for the whole family to enjoy.

"The new-look Selfie Station rooms look fantastic, and I'm excited to see families have fun with our latest seasonal installation. During your visit, we'd encourage you to take part in our Easter egg hunt, for your chance to get your hands on an official certificate to go alongside your Easter selfies!"
