Spitfire Family Day

The Spitfire Family Day takes place on Saturday 10 August at Potteries Museum & Art Gallery (Potteries Museum).

The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery will be hosting a family fun day celebrating the WW2 Spitfire on Saturday 10 August.

Visitors are invited to discover what life was like for the ordinary citizens with characters from 'Spirit of the Homefront' living history group and hear about rationing, hairpins, coal and clothing and the extraordinary roles people undertook.

This event is free and takes place between 11am and 4pm.

Caudwell Children's Family Open Day

Caudwell Children's Family Open Day takes place on Friday 9 August (Caudwell Children).

Following the success of last year's event, Caudwell Children's Family Open Day returns on Friday 6 August and entry is completely free.

Visitors can take part in a penalty shootout with Pottermus, browse delicious treats, meet the animals at the Animal Farm and jump aboard an interactive sensory bus.

Tales in the Park - Burslem

Tales in the Park will take place at Burslem Park on Friday 9 August (Tales in the Park).

The National Literacy Trust is returning to Stoke-on-Trent this summer with a series of free family storytelling festivals.

Families will be treated to storytelling from local performers, draw-alongs, faceprinting, crafts, sports and more.

This summer event is perfect for children aged 0-11 and takes place in Burslem Park this weekend, between 11am and 3pm.

Don't forget you can advertise your event for FREE on our 'What's On' page by clicking the black 'Nub It' button.

If it wasn't for our sponsors like Bros Distillery and Powerleague, our what's on section and news site would not be possible. Thank you.
