Firefighters tackle blaze inside derelict building in Stoke-on-Trent

Firefighters were called to Old Town Road, Hanley, this afternoon (Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service).
Firefighters were called to Old Town Road, Hanley, this afternoon (Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service).

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service are currently dealing with a fire inside a derelict building in Stoke-on-Trent. 

At 3.47pm today (Tuesday 6 August), crews were called to Old Town Road in Hanley following reports of flames coming from a building. 

A spokesperson said: "Crews are at the scene and dealing with the fire. We're using the aerial ladder platform to deliver water from above.

"No-one has been reported injured."
