Firefighters tackle blaze inside derelict building in Stoke-on-Trent

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service are currently dealing with a fire inside a derelict building in Stoke-on-Trent. 

At 3.47pm today (Tuesday 6 August), crews were called to Old Town Road in Hanley following reports of flames coming from a building. 

A spokesperson said: "Crews are at the scene and dealing with the fire. We're using the aerial ladder platform to deliver water from above.

"No-one has been reported injured."
