The People's Parade | Hanley | Sat 7 June
Hundreds of artists, creatives and community groups are set to march through the streets of Hanley on Saturday for Stoke-on-Trent's People's Parade to celebrate the city's centenary.
The parade will begin on College Road adjacent to Stoke-on-Trent College at 1pm and the route will take to Broad Street before heading down Bethesda Street and Regent Road as the parade makes its way back to Hanley Park for 2:30pm.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Stoke Creates have organised the parade and they say it will show the world what makes Stoke-on-Trent so special in a celebration of the city's people, history, heroes, and community spirit

Party in the Park | Hanley Park | Sat 7 June
A free afternoon music festival is being hosted in Hanley Park on Saturday, 7 June between 1pm and 6pm.
You can expect performances from talented local artists, including singer songwriter Levi Knapper, electropop artist Dala Jade and a popular Taylor Swift Tribute act - Bejeweled: The Taylor Swift Tribute.
Also on the line up are Steel Pan Band, Greg Murray and the Seven Wonders and Boogie Knights.
There will also be street food stalls and activities.

A Century of Us | The Potteries Centre | from Sat 7 June
A special art exhibition celebrating Stoke-on-Trent's 100th anniversary will open this summer at The Potteries Centre. "A Century of Us," organised in partnership with Yellow by Keep It Local, the gallery will showcase work by local artists honouring the city's rich heritage and vibrant community.
The exhibition will run from Saturday 7 June until Tuesday 30 September.
Centenary Community Family Fun Day | Meir Park | Sat 7 June
Alongside The Potters Bar team, the Meir Park Residents Association will be hosting a community family fun day on Saturday 7th June between 12pm-4pm.
You can expect an afternoon of entertainment, fun, games and stallholders showcasing their amazing goods and services.

Dougie Mac Charity Match | Leek Town Football Club | Sat 7 June
Colleagues of two local companies, Diamond Freight and The Greenhouse People will be going head to head to raise money for the Dougie Mac - kicking off at 1pm. This event has raised over £30,000 in the last two years.
There will be plenty to do on the day including an auction, a sportsman's evening with some special guest speakers.
