Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after a man was found with serious head injuries in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers were called to Birches Head Road at about 9.20pm last night (21 February) following safety concerns for a man.

He was found with potentially life-threatening head injuries at the scene and was taken to hospital, where he remains.

A man was found with serious head injuries and was taken to hospital (West Midlands Ambulance Service).

Enquiries to find out more are ongoing.

Staffordshire Police say: "Anyone with any information or those with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time are asked to get in touch with us.

"Call 101, quoting incident 634 of 21 January, or message us using Live Chat on our website."
