Stoke-on-Trent man charged with public decency and assault offences

A man from Stoke-on-Trent has been charged with public decency and assault offences following an incident in the city.

Daniel Hodgkinson, 37, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with outraging public decency, assault with intent to resist arrest and two counts of common assault of an emergency worker.

It comes after two officers were assaulted whilst responding to reports of exposure at St Nicholas Court in Norton on Wednesday (21 February).

None of them were seriously injured.

Hodgkinson is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 23 February.
