Yellow weather warning issued for Stoke as Storm Jocelyn set to hit Staffordshire
A yellow weather warning has been issued to Stoke and the wider Staffordshire area, following winds associated with 'Storm Jocelyn.'
Met Office has issued the strong winds yellow warning for Tuesday 23 January and Wednesday 24 January.
A yellow weather warning means there will be potential disruption to travel and utilities.
This could include the closure of some road and rail bridges, and it could also have an impact on public transport services such as rail and buses.
The Met Office also warns people to be wary of flying debris, and the possibility of damage to buildings such as fallen roof tiles and fence panels.
Power cuts may also occur, which may affect other services such as mobile phone coverage.
