Nouvelle Vauge | Stoke Film Theatre | Hartshill Rd | Fri 13 to Sat 14 Mar
Stoke-on-Trent's independent cinema, Stoke Film Theatre, will be showing Nouvelle Vague on Friday 13 March and Saturday 14 March at 7:45pm.
The cinema is located at The Wade Centre, Hartshill Road.
Stoke Film Theatre said: "Nouvelle Vague is Richard Linklater's playful and poignant love letter to cinema, reimagining the making of Jean-Luc Godard's Breathless, in an exuberant exploration of the youthful rebellion and creative chaos that shaped the French New Wave."
Tickets are available online at £9.16 for an adult ticket (including booking fees).
The Potteries Folk Club | Fenton Town Hall | Fri 13 Mar
The Potteries Folk Club will return to Fenton Town Hall at 7:45pm on Friday 13 March with a performance from The Barmy Penguins.
The Potteries Folk Club said: "The Barmy Penguins are a quartet with Dave Boulton on guitar and vocals, Mike Cosgrave on cittern, weissenborn guitar and vocals, Clare Rigby on flute, whistles and vocals and Richard Sykes, a multi instrumentalist in pipes and vocals.
"Come along, everyone is welcome!"
Tickets are available online for £12.

Genesis Songbook | Mitchell Arts Centre | Hanley | Sat 14 Mar
The Genesis Songbook show, a celebration of Phil Collins fronted Genesis, will be on at the Mitchell Arts Centre on Saturday 14 March at 7:30pm.
The Mitchell Arts Centre said: "Featuring the former singer/drummer and keyboardist from Genesis Visible Touch, Genesis Songbook are doing exactly what it says in the title for their "Some Old Songs, Some Old 'New' Songs" tour!
"From 'Follow You Follow Me' and 'Invisible Touch', to 'In The Cage' and other old fan favourites and live classics, this a show for all Genesis fans across the board!"
Tickets can be booked online. Adult tickets are £23 and child tickets are £14.25 (including booking fees).
Hubb Pots Cook and Eat Session | Hanley | Sat 14 Mar
The Hubb Foundation is running a free Hubb Pots Cook and Eat community cooking demonstration at Asha North Staffs, in Hanley on Saturday March 14th at 10am.
The Hubb Foundation said: "Led by celebrated local chef Harji Kaur of Indian Fusion, families will be coached through cooking healthy air fryer meals such as kebabs, vegetarian curry, pizzas and even stir fry, before either eating the meal at the venue or packaging it up to take home."

Star Bikers Easter Egg Run | Stoke-on-Trent | Sun 15 Mar
The Star Bikers Charity Egg Run will be setting off from the Bet365 Stadium at 11am this Sunday (15 March).
Hundreds of motorcyclists from across the region are expected to join the parade through the city which will conclude at Kings Hall with an after party for participants and spectators.
A spokesperson for Star Bikers Charity said: "The Egg Run is more than just a motorcycle ride. It's a powerful demonstration of what our community can achieve when we come together.

SIXTOWNS Mother's Day | World of Wedgwood | Barlaston | Sun 15 Mar
SIXTOWNS at The World of Wedgwood will be hosting a Mother's Day event with live music and free prosecco from 12pm.
The organisers said: "Celebrate Mum with a relaxed, feel-good afternoon the whole family can enjoy.
"Live music, speciality cocktails for the grown-ups, and kids' activities to keep little ones entertained.
"Pre-book your table and Mum will be treated to a FREE glass of Prosecco on arrival A warm, welcoming space to eat, drink, relax, and celebrate together."

Castle Artisan Market | The Stones | Newcastle-under-Lyme | Sun 15 Mar
The Castle Artisan Market will be taking place from 10am to 3pm on Sunday 15 March at The Stones, Newcastle-under-Lyme.
The organisers said: "If you're planning to spoil Mum this year (or you are the Mum who deserves spoiling ), then Castle Artisan Market is exactly where you need to be."
There will be a range of stalls including handcrafted jewellery, original homewares and street food.
There is free parking available.
