Tunstall Christmas Light switch on | Tunstall Market | Sat 6 Dec

The Tunstall light switch on, organised by Tunstall Market, will take place on Saturday 6 December at 3pm.

There will also be glitter tattoos, crazy golf, Punch and Judy, and an opportunity for children to see Santa and receive a small gift.

Winter Vegan Festival | Hanley | Sat 6 Dec

This year's Winter Vegan Festival, organised by Stoke-on-Trent Animal Rights and Stoke-on-Trent City Centre BID, will take place this Saturday.

The market will be in Hanley around the Blue Clock from 10am to 4pm and will feature a range of food and craft vendors.

The organisers said: " We can't wait to announce our fabulous vendors but expect hot and cold food, sweet treats, crafts, pottery, cards, candles, dog treats and more!"

Festive Photobooth and Penguin Trail | Middleport Pottery | Sat 6 Dec

There will be a festive family photobooth available to book at Middleport Pottery this Saturday.

Visitors can book a 15 minute time slot for £10 in the Christmas grotto which includes festive props, a Christmas keepsake and photograph of your child/family

Middleport Pottery said: "Create a lasting memory of your loved ones in our Christmas Festive Family photobooth with our professional photographer elf. Nice and naughty children welcome!"

The Winter Penguin Trail also begins on Saturday where children can find the penguins around the site for £3.

Winter Fayre | Discovery Academy | Bentilee | Sat 6 Dec

Discovery Academy is hosting a free Winter ayre this weekend from 10:30am to 2:30pm.

There will be gift and food vendors as well as visits from Santa and the Grinch.

The organisers said: "Bring pocket money for treats and gifts, then soak up the festive atmosphere with family and friends. Everyone's invited!"
