The Potteries Folk Club | Fenton Town Hall | Fri 12 June

Vicki Swan & Jonny Dyer will be this month's guests at The Potteries Folk Club at Fenton Town Hall on Friday 12 June.

The Potteries Folk Club said: "Vicki Swan & Jonny Dyer effortlessly blend traditional material with contemporary sounds.

"Their performances showcase new interpretations of old songs alongside original self penned tunes and new contemporary songs that are entirely at home in the tradition. They have developed a sound that is both familiar and fresh.

"Strong believers in letting the music tradition live and breathe through sensitive interpretation, Vicki and Jonny allow the melody to sing without any constraints."

Mobility and Physio session | Shoemaker Place | Stone | Fri 12 June

Shoemaker Place Care Home in Stone, part of the Borough Care group, will be hosting a mobility and physio session in collaboration with Active Life Physio Care.

The session, which will include mobility advice and free walking aid assessments, will take place on Friday 12 June from 2pm to 4pm.

Sharon Parkes, Customer Relationship Manager at Borough Care, said: "Members of the local community can bring their loved ones along for free mobility checks and physio advice."

Middleport Canal Festival | Sat 13 and Sun 14 June

The Middleport Pottery Canal Festival is set to return on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June with heritage narrowboats, floating traders, stalls, live entertainment and more.

Louise Bartley, Marketing & Communications Manager at Re-Form Heritage said: "This annual celebration of our canal history here at Middleport Pottery brings together some fantastic local entertainers, creatives, roving traders and newly restored heritage narrowboat Norway will join the very talented creative community that is already here onsite.

"The annual Canal Festival always proves to be a great family fun day out and we look forward to welcoming everyone to this free event."

World of Wedgwood Artisan Market | Barlaston | Sun 14 June

The World of Wedgwood Artisan Market will return on Sunday 14 June from 10am to 4pm.

There will be handmade gifts, homewares, street food and live music.

The organisers said: "Sunshine, good vibes and seriously great shopping… the World of Wedgwood Artisan Market is back this June and it's bringing all the feel-good energy of early summer with it.

"Join us for a laid-back Sunday packed with creativity, colour and community in one of Staffordshire's most beautiful settings."

There is free entry to the market and free parking available.
