Titanic Brewery, based in Burslem, was founded in 1985 and the name serves as a reference to the fact that Captain Smith was born in Hanley.
Owners, Keith and Dave Bott, bought the brewery in the late 80s and over the past 40 years, the brothers have branched out to pubs and now cafe bars.
Head of Marketing, David Glenwright, told Stoke Nub News: "The focus has always been on brewing good quality beer that people will enjoy - a lot of them have names linked to the Titanic in some way, such as Iceberg or White Star.
"In 2011, we hit a turning point as a brewery when we brewed a one-off autumn special beer which was a porter flavoured with plums.
"Today, Plum Porter accounts for around 48% of our brewing output so we've built up a very loyal following of the beer and it's amazing that people are so excited about it."
The brewery not only produces fantastic beer, but also owns various pubs and cafes allowing them to serve the local community no matter what time of day.
The Bull's Head, in Burslem, has been a Titanic pub for around 30 years and the brewery also owns The Greyhound in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
David said: "The pubs that we pick always have communities around them and that's very important to us that our sites are there to serve and cater to the local people.
"But the bod concept came about when Keith and Dave were looking at our pubs and noticed they only served the community from mid-afternoon onwards so there's all that time in the morning where the pub isn't open to the community.
"What they wanted to do was create a space that could serve the community from first thing in the morning - they wanted a space that was there for people whether it was 9am or 9pm."
Titanic Brewery has opened eight bod cafe bars in just five years, two of which are in Stoke-on-Trent.
In October 2018, bod Stoke opened at Stoke Railway Station, having taken over the former Virgin First Class Lounge.
Trentham bod was the third cafe bar, located on Longton Road in the former Natwest bank.
The bod's all have a cafe side which serves locally roasted coffee and locally produced food, as well as a bar side which serves a whole range of Titanic products and a few guest beers.
David continued: "Introducing the bod cafe bars was a natural progression of the ethos of what Titanic is all about and the concept has been received really well - people love coming here and our events are always extremely busy.
"We have community notice boards in every bod where people can put things up for free - we have a huge focus on that, we want these places to be hubs of the local community.
"There is a place for pubs and there is a place for bods, but the only rule we have is that they cannot replace pubs - we make use of old buildings instead."
As well as having numerous pubs and bods, Titanic also hosts regular tours of their brewery for only £17.50 which can be booked here.
