Three men jailed following violent disorder in Stoke-on-Trent

Three more men have been sentenced to a collective prison term spanning more than seven years for their part in the violent disorder in Stoke-on-Trent.

Dillan Bahruzi, 38, from Sneyd Green, was sentenced to two years behind bars after he admitted violent disorder.

Jordan Winyard, 28, of no fixed address, was jailed for three years after he pleaded guilty to the same offence.

Jordan Jones, 27, from Meir, was sentenced to two years and two months after he admitted violent disorder and possession of a controlled drug of class B.

A total of 45 people have now been charged following the violent disorder in Staffordshire in August (Nub News).

Bahruzi was identified on footage throwing rocks and missiles at police officers and members of the public in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, on 3 August.

He was arrested on 16 August and charged with the offence.

Winyard was wearing a pig mask when he launched missiles at police officers, police dogs and the Holiday Inn Express hotel.

Jones was caught on CCTV launching a brick at frontline police officers in Stoke-on-Trent and shouting abuse in the violent disorder.
