Teenager arrested after man left unconscious outside Stoke-on-Trent nightclub

A teenager has been arrested following a serious assault in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police and paramedics were called to New Hall Street in Hanley, just outside Bar 360, at around 5.30am on Sunday 7 July, after a young man assaulted another man.

The victim was left unconscious in the street and was later taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing at this time.

A 17-year-old, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of assault.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We're keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or those with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from the area at the time.

"Call 101, quoting incident 173 of 7 July, or use Live Chat on our website."
