Officers from Cheshire Police then managed to sting the car, allowing officers to box in the driver on Station Road.
A 38-year-old woman, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving whilst unfit through drugs and criminal damage.
She has since been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.
