Here are our top few picks of what's happening in Stoke over the next few days. 

Fireworks and Bonfire

The John Marstons will host a community event on Saturday night (John Marstons).

On Saturday 2 November, The John Marstons will be hosting an evening of community fireworks and a bonfire.

The fireworks begin at 7pm and hot food will be available. Rachel Shenton will also be performing a "one woman rock show".

An Evening with Adam Rowe

Adam won 'funniest joke' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018 (Stoke-on-Trent City Council).

An award-winning comedian is putting on an intimate stand-up show in Stoke-on-Trent on Friday 1 November. 

Adam Rowe, who is best known for hosting the 'Have a Word' podcast, will be taking to the stage at The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery.

Tickets for An Evening With Adam Rowe are now available. They cost £18.50 each and are available for over 18's only. Doors open at 6pm for a 7pm start.

Science Fair at The Glebe

The Science Fair takes place on Sunday 3 November (The Glebe).

A free science fair for all ages will be at The Glebe, Stoke, on Sunday 3 November between 12pm and 5pm.

There will be a range of displays, activities and demonstrations from scientists, educators, students and enthusiasts from a wide range of fields including astrophysics, biomedical, earth sciences and more.

Middleport Ceramic, Craft and Art Festival

The festival takes place on Saturday 2 November between 10am and 4pm (Middleport Pottery).

Visitors are invited to come along and meet local and national artists displaying their work and browse a range of stalls, exhibits and demonstrations around the venue.

Located on Longton Road and Station Road, the venues serve a range of Titanic ales as well as coffees and a varied food menu.
