Stoke-on-Trent High Tales ditched as pub to revert back to old name

A UK-first "experience-led dining venue" in Stoke-on-Trent is set to shut after less than a year.
High Tales at the former Hem Heath pub in Trentham Lakes opened in Autumn last year but now the venue has confirmed it will revert back to its old name and be under the Flaming Grill brand from October.
Greene King, which owns the pub, promised immersive experiences and varied entertainment when it opened last year.
In a statement on social media, Hem Heath said: "Hem Heath will be back in October, and part of the Flaming Grill family!
"Think stacked burgers, sizzling skillets, juicy steaks and plenty of flame. We can't wait to welcome you to watch all your sporting favourites in your new local, with some familiar faces."
When High Tales opened, the general manager said: "HighTales is all about creating a space where people come together, enjoy fantastic food, and make lasting memories," with Greene King hoping to "transform" Stoke-on-Trent's dining and entertainment scene.
Greene King has been approached for a statement.
