Star Bikers Egg Run

The run begins at 11am on Saturday 17 March (Star Bikers).

The Star Bikers' 45th Egg Run takes place on Sunday 17 March and will see hundreds of bikers riding around Stoke-on-Trent.

The ride will begin at bet365 Stadium at 11am and travel through Trentham, Blurton, Weston Coyney, Bentilee, Badderley Green, Milton and Northwood before finishing at Kings Hall in Stoke.

All spectators on the route are welcome to attend the after-run event at Kings Hall although a £2 donation is required.

Shrek the Musical

Shrek the Musical will be live at Michell Arts Centre until 16 March (MAC).

Shrek the Musical is being performed at Mitchell Arts Centre, Hanley, between 13 and 16 March.

Mitchell Arts Centre say: "Everyone's favorite ogre is back in this hilarious stage spectacle, based on the Oscar-winning smash hit film and outrageous Broadway musical."

Sophie McCartney: Tried and Tested

Sophie McCartney will be performing live at Victoria Hall on Friday 15 March (Nub News).

Best known for her insights into adulting, Sophie McCartney will be performing her new stand-up tour at Victoria Hall on Friday 15 March.

The popular venue said: "Mating, birthing, body changes, school WhatsApp groups, overbearing nutjob love, and still not being able to handle your booze on a night out; nothing is off limits for this postparthun."

What else is on in Stoke this weekend?

  • Seated mindful movement classes take place on Saturday 16 March between 10am and 11am and cost £9.50 per hour. Find out more here.
