Service of Remembrance

The Service of Remembrance will take place at the Cenotaph in Stoke (Nub News).

Stoke-on-Trent will fall silent for a Remembrance Sunday service and parade held in Stoke town centre this weekend (10 November).

The Service of Remembrance will take place at the Cenotaph on Kingsway, Stoke, commencing at 10.40am and consist of wreath-laying, a two minute silence (11am) and a parade. 

Anyone who wishes to take part in the Parade is asked to form up adjacent to the Kings Way Public House no later than 10.20am.

A road closure will be in place on Kingsway from 8am. 

Artisan Market

The Artisan Market will take place at World of Wedgwood this Sunday (World of Wedgwood).

In conjunction with Castle Artisan Markets, World of Wedgwood will host an Artisan Market on Sunday 10 November between 10am and 4pm.

The markets will take place in the outdoor courtyard and there will be over 30 stalls of independent local makers and small businesses from in and around Stoke-on-Trent.

Christmas Wreath Workshop

Middleport Pottery will be hosting a Christmas Wreath Workshop on Friday 8 November.

Organisers say: "Design and Create your own Christmas Wreath using fresh Christmas foliage's such as spruce, holly and pine, accompanied with scented decorations and gorgeous ribbon.

"Your instructor Ginty will be on hand to guide you through the process so you leave the workshop with a beautiful handmade wreath to hang on your door. Refreshments will be included."

Located on Longton Road and Station Road, the venues serve a range of Titanic ales as well as coffees and a varied food menu.
