Coyote vs. Acme | Stoke Film Theatre | Hartshill Rd | Fri 25 and Sat 26 Sept

Stoke-on-Trent's independent cinema, Stoke Film Theatre, will be showing Coyote vs. Acme on Friday 25 September and Saturday 26 September.

The cinema is located at The Wade Centre, Hartshill Road.

Stoke Film Theatre said: "After Acme products fail him one too many times in his dogged pursuit of the Roadrunner, Wile E. Coyote decides to sue the Acme Corporation, retaining lawyer Kevin Avery for the court battle.

"But Acme has its own powerhouse defense attorney in Kevin's slick nemesis Buddy Crane, who is determined to silence Wile E. and Kevin with extreme prejudice.

"Cue a wild quest for justice by Wile E. and Kevin that's as thrilling and physics-defying as Wile E.'s lifelong chase for the ever-speedy Road Runner."

Rock Choir with Penkhull Village Brass | Methodist Central Hall | Longton | Sat 26 Sept

North Staffs Rock Choir will be teaming up with Penkhull Village Brass for a live music event at Methodist Central Hall, Longton on Saturday 26 September from 7.15pm.

The organisers said: "Get ready for an awesome evening with the North Staffs Rock Choir teaming up with the lively Penkhull Village Brass!

"This in-person event promises a fun-filled mix of powerful vocals and upbeat brass tunes. Whether you're a music lover or just looking for a great night out, come join us for some fantastic live performances and good vibes all around!"

Honey Box Live | Keele Clock House | Sun 27 Sept

The Honey Box Keele Clock House Special will be taking place on Sunday 27 September.

The live music event will showcase The Two Step Goodbyes, Onjah and The Last Gary on Earth.

The organisers said: " The Honey Box is a unique live music event that supports the best new music from emerging bands across the UK! Be Part of the Action — Join the Live Audience.

"Honey Box Live isn't just a gig. It's a pop-up TV studio experience where the live audience is right at the heart of it."

Comic Con | Fenton Manor Sports Complex | Sat 26 Sept

Creed Conventions will be bringing Stoke Comic Con to Fenton Manor Sports Complex on Saturday 26 September from 10am to 4pm.

The event will feature activities, a trader zone and guest talks including Steph De Whalley, Brian Blessed and Dani Harmer.

The oragnisers said: "This will be a great day for families, sci-fi collectors, fans, and every other kind of Comic Con Fan!

"There is lots to see and do, including out of this world displays and props, traders selling out of this world collections, meet celebrities from TV and the movies!"

The Ghost Train (Revised Edition) by Arnold Ridley will be heading to Stoke Rep Theatre next week.

The organisers said: "Step aboard for a spinetingling ride with The Ghost Train, Arnold Ridley's classic comedy-thriller that has had audiences laughing and gasping for generations.

"When a group of mismatched travellers become trapped overnight in a remote railway waiting room, they're warned of a terrifying legend: a phantom train hurtling through the darkness… bearing the dead from a long-ago train disaster.
