UPDATE: A50 reopened following 'car fire' in Staffordshire

The A50 westbound in Staffordshire has been reopened following a "car fire".

The incident affected the A50 westbound in Staffordshire between A521 (Draycott in the Moors) & B5029 (Blythe Bridge).

All lanes are now open and no significant delays are reported on the approach.

Staffordshire Police and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene.

National Highways said: "The A50 westbound in Staffordshire between A521 (Draycott in the Moors) & B5029 (Blythe Bridge).

"All lanes are now open.

"Currently no significant delays on the approach."

Staffordshire Police and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for comment.
