Stoke Rep Players - the in-house theatre company of Stoke Rep Theatre - are planning a huge range of shows in the build up to Christmas 2024.

The Players perform five plays each season and has many other productions throughout the year, including musical theatre, dance shows, concerts and a pantomime.

The Rep Players Christmas play this year is Alan Ayckbourn's classic 70's comedy Absurd Person Singular. Running from 10—14 December this show promises a scathing satire of social climbing and suburban snobbery…  

There are several other shows on at The Rep in the build up to Christmas — all a great way to grab a fabulous night out at this excellent venue.  

White Christmas is at Stoke Rep Theatre on 18 December (Stoke Rep Players).

Coming up in November and December are the following shows: 

16 November — Staffordshire Choirs Association present A Musical World Tour with songs and melodies from around the globe.  

19—23 November — Stoke Youth Musical Theatre Company presents Sweeny Todd — a dark and witty musical tale of love, murder and revenge set against the backdrop of 19th century London. 

27—30 November — Five Towns Theatre presents The Addams Family — A comical feast that embracing the wackiness in every family.  

The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe is at Stoke Rep Theatre on 15 and 16 December (Stoke Rep Players).

15—16 December — The Young Rep present The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe — a magical adventure across Narnia in CS Lewis' classic story.  

18 December — Staffordshire Show Choir present White Christmas, with Musical Director – Ashley Mellor featuring some of your favourite festive music.  

19 December— Talon in To The Limit Tour '24 — Rep regulars play Eagles hits plus more.  

21 December — Chris Dean's Syd Lawrence Orchestra presents Mistletoe and Miller — the UK's most popular and famous big band putting you in the mood for Christmas.  

27—29 December and 3—5 January — D. E. Caversmill Theatre presents Jack and the Beanstalk — their annual panto written by Alan Frayn. 

Talon will perform at Stoke Rep Theatre on 19 December (Stoke Rep Players).
