A Stoke-on-Trent theatre company will perform a play which is "full of laughter and poignant social commentary" this Christmas.
Alan Ayckbourn's classic play Absurd Person Singular returns to the stage this December, offering a sharp and humorous critique of 1970s middle-class life.
Set over three Christmas Eves, the play follows the fortunes and follies of three couples: Sidney and Jane Hopcroft, Geoffrey and Eva Jackson, and Ronald and Marion Brewster-Wright.
The show runs at The Stoke Rep Theatre from Tuesday 10 to Saturday 14 December 2024 at 7:30pm each evening, with a matinée performance at 2:30pm on the Saturday.
Tickets for all performances are available online, direct from the Players Box Office (01782 209784), or by email from [email protected]. Evening tickets are £15.50, and matinée tickets are £12.50. Child and student concessions are £11.00.
This amateur production of Absurd Person Singular is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French Ltd.
