Potters 'Arf Marathon 2025 in pictures

Runners and walkers have taken to the streets of Stoke-on-Trent for the Potters 'Arf Marathon 2025.

This year, Potters 'Arf is celebrating its 20th anniversary with City of Stoke Athletic Club's Jordan Thomas crossing the line first with a time of 1:10:37 while Emma Taylor, also of City of Stoke Athletic Club, was the quickest woman with a time of 1:21:45.

The 13.1m route started at Upper Market Square in Hanley before the runners and walkers journeyed through the streets of the city.

This year the event saw thousands take part with many raising money for local causes, charities and projects close to their hearts.

Some also opted for fancy dress with costumes including a monkey, Buzz Lightyear, Mario and Luigi all spotted alongside Kelvin the Kiln who was there to welcome the runners back to the city centre.

Potters 'Arf features the famous "Heartbreak Hill" section and the event attracts runners from across the country who are drawn to the hilly course.

And all participants also received a special 20th anniversary and centenary-themed medal at the finish line.
