Staffordshire Police has released images of five people they would like to speak to after a man was stabbed in Stoke-on-Trent.

The incident happened during a fight between the victim, (a man in his 20s), and a small group of people on Hope Street in Hanley at around 5am on Saturday 23 March.

After it happened, the victim noticed he had stab wounds to his abdomen, back and shoulder. Thankfully, the injuries weren't serious.

Police have already arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of wounding with intent. He has since been released on police bail while the investigation continues.

Officers want to speak to the five people pictured in connection with the incident. Anyone who recognises them or those with any information that can help police are urged to get in touch.
