Police appeal after three people taken to hospital following Stoke-on-Trent crash

Three people were hospitalised after a two-vehicle crash in Stoke-on-Trent over the weekend.

A crash involving a white Ford Focus and grey Ford Ranger on Parkhall Road in Weston Coyney just before 5:15pm on Saturday (6 August) saw the road shut at the junction for Glandore Road until around 8pm while emergency services responded.

The driver of the Focus, a man, sustained facial and arm injuries while the passenger, also a man, suffered bruising.

The driver of the Ranger, a woman, sustained facial and wrist injuries with grazes to her legs and hands, according to Staffordshire Police.

None of the injuries are thought to be life-threatening or life-changing and police are now appealing for witnesses and information.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We are appealing for information after three people were taken to hospital following a collision in Stoke-on-Trent last weekend.

"Anyone who saw what happened or who may have relevant dashcam footage should contact us on 101 quoting incident number 594 of 6 September.

"To report anonymously, contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
