Plans have been lodged for a brand-new three-storey block of flats on a busy road in Stoke-on-Trent, next to an iconic pub.

Mr Jabbar-Ali has applied for permission to build a "three-storey development containing eight apartments with associated external refuse/cycle store, retaining wall and landscaping" at 11 Snow Hill.

The site is currently a car sales forecourt situated next to the former Bell and Bear pub which was saved from demolition only last year.

Each of the new flats would be one-bedroom (Radworth Architectural and Planning).

The new development would create eight one-bedroom flats and eight parking spaces are proposed for the site.

No further details have been released at this time; the full planning application can be viewed here.
