A cocaine dealer has been jailed following a stop and search in Stoke-on-Trent.
Gazmen Gjermizi, 29, of Birmingham, was stopped by police officers in Meir in June this year following intelligence that he may be involved in the supply of drugs locally.
Staffordshire Police officers found five wraps of cocaine inside his car that had been concealed in a sock.
A further 20 wraps of cocaine were found when officers searched his home, along with £210 in cash.
The total value of the drugs seized was believed to be worth around £1,250.
After being arrested and questioned in custody, Gjermizi was charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A – crack cocaine.
He admitted the offence at an earlier hearing and was jailed at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Thursday 13 November for two-and-a-half-years.
