Man charged with sexual offences and assault following incident in Stoke-on-Trent

A man has been charged with sexual offences and assault following an incident in Stoke-on-Trent.

Daniel Clift, 35, of no fixed address, has been charged with engaging in sexual activity with a girl, breaching a sexual harm prevention order and assault.

This comes after police were called to an address near Beverley Drive, Bucknall, at 8.45pm on Friday 5 July following reports of a man acting erratically.

It was reported the man went inside an address in the area. He also assaulted a man.

Clift is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Monday 8 July).
