A man has been charged following an attempted robbery at a hair salon in Stoke-on-Trent recently. 

Damon Morris, 49, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with attempted robbery. 

It comes after police were called to an address on Trentham Road, Longton, on Saturday (13 January).

The attempted robbery happened between 5pm and 5.15pm and one woman was threatened with a knife. Read the full story here.
