A luxury multi-brand clothing retailer is set to open its first store in Stoke-on-Trent later this year.

Flannels will take over the former Scott's unit in The Potteries Centre, Hanley, which is set to close in July.

Scotts staff told Stoke Nub News that the unit will only be closed for two weeks for refurbishment before Flannels opens.

The retailer will offer a range of designer clothing, accessories, footwear and beauty collections for men, women, and children.

The unit, on the middle mall, will be closed for two weeks before Flannels opens (Nub News).

Flannels currently has over 60 stores in the UK and Ireland with its nearest shop located in Manchester.

Amy Whittaker, Centre Manager at The Potteries Centre, said: "We are thrilled to announce that Flannel's will soon be opening at The Potteries Centre.

"The luxury fashion retailer will provide new and exciting offerings, bringing diverse and popular clothing brands, footwear and accessories to locals and visitors.

"We are continuing to build upon our goal of making the centre a community hub and strive to offer something for everyone by bringing together big-name brands, independent stores, and new and exciting products, all under one roof."

The Potteries Centre, Hanley, is currently home to over 50 shops (Nub News).
