A popular fashion retailer is preparing to close their Hanley town centre store to make way for a luxury clothing shop.

Scotts and Tessuti have launched a closing down sale as they prepare to close the store in Potteries Centre, Hanley.

Staff told Stoke Nub News that the store is looking to close in July, but there is no set date yet.

The fashion retailer has launched a sale in preparation for the two-week closure (Nub News).

The store will only be closed for two weeks whilst it undergoes refurbishment work and a Flannels store will be opened in its place.

This comes as Scotts, Newcastle-under-Lyme, also prepares to close next week and plans for Flannels to open in the former BHS store in Hanley never materialised.
