LIVE: Huge blaze at block of flats in Stoke-on-Trent

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a fire at a block of flats in Stoke-on-Trent.

Fire crews and police were called at 4am this morning to reports of a fire at a two-storey block of flats near Brookwood Drive, Meir.

The flats have been evacuated and all residents are accounted for.

A number of people have been taken to hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.

Brookwood Drive is currently closed - we will update this article when we know more.
