A man has been arrested after police seized an estimated £30,000 worth of cannabis and cash inside an address in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers searched a home near Dawlish Drive, Bentilee, at around 7.45am yesterday (11 September) and found the items inside.

A 28-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis.

He remains in custody for questioning.

Police seized a haul of cannabis and cash worth around £30,000 (Staffordshire Police).

Since Staffordshire Police launched Operation Target in May last year, they have arrested more than 1,000 suspects for drug and weapon offences in Staffordshire and are continuing to gather intelligence to act against those responsible for high-harm crimes in our communities.
