Investigation launched after 27-year-old woman found dead in Stoke home

An investigation has been launched after a 27-year-old woman was found dead in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to Corporation Street at 2.55am yesterday morning (Sunday 21 January). 

A 27-year-old woman was found unresponsive inside the address. Sadly, despite the best efforts of paramedics, she was later pronounced dead.

Specially-trained officers are supporting her family at this tragic time. 

The death is currently being treated as unexplained.
