Four-way traffic lights will be installed on a busy road in Meir, Stoke-on-Trent, later this month whilst a damaged manhole is replaced.

The lights will be installed on Sandon Road, near the turning for Waterhead Road, on 26 February between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

Severn Trent said they will be replacing a damaged manhole cover and frame.

Four-way traffic lights will be installed on Sandon Road for six hours (Nub News).

A spokesperson told Nub News: "We have planned works taking place on Sandon Road on 26th February to replace a damaged manhole cover and frame.

"Due to the location of the manhole, and to keep everyone safe, four-way traffic lights will be in place for the duration of the works.

"We know how frustrating roadworks can be and our teams will be working hard to get the work completed and everything back to normal as quickly as possible."
