Staffordshire Police are investigating a deliberate fire at a former community and bowling pavilion in Stoke-on-Trent yesterday (14 November).

Emergency services were called to Warrington Road, Bucknall, just after 7pm yesterday.

It is believed the fire has caused thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Police don't believe anyone was inside at the time and no-one has been reported injured.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We understand a group of about six people were seen leaving the area on foot at the time of the fire. We searched the area but did not find anyone matching the description.

"Anyone who has any information, particularly CCTV, dashcam and doorbell footage of the area at the time, is asked to get in touch with us. Call 101, quoting incident 665 of 14 November, or use Live Chat on our website.

"To report anonymously, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
