Bin collection days will change over the festive period to accommodate public holidays.

Stoke-on-Trent residents are expected to see bin collection changes over the next two weeks.

Residents can check the revised collection dates for their address at the Stoke-on-Trent City Council website here

Collections will return to normal from Friday 2 January.

Stoke-on-Trent City Council said: "As a result of delayed collections, households will be allowed to present any excess waste or recycling as bagged 'side-waste' alongside their wheelie bin when usual collections are resumed.

"Please present additional recycling material in card boxes or clear bags on the scheduled day."
