Winter Wonderland Stoke on Trent has been providing much-needed festive fun since the 24th of November, however with the schools breaking up has extended its opening hours through to and including Sunday 7th January!

From Saturday 23rd December Winter Wonderland will open from 11.00am until 10.00pm every day with the exception of Christmas Eve when it will close at 7.00pm, Boxing Day 12.00 noon until 9.00pm and New Years Eve when Winter Wonderland will remain open until late!

The only day which Winter Wonderland will close will be Christmas Day!

Over the past four weekends at the event which is free to enter families have been returning through the caste entrance and taking a trip down candy lane along the timber decked walkways, getting their skates on under the covered ice rink complete with real ice.

Teenagers have been swinging 30m in the air on Oxygen and taking a wild trip on Venom while families and youngsters have been the Dodgems and Sizzler Twist and the vast selection of festive attractions aimed at the younger visitors.

When guests have whizzed around the rink and been flown through the air at great speed, the enlarged Bavarian Bar is a wonderful place to warm up. They can also try delicious hot luxury chocolates or specially coffees. And if in the mood for something stronger there is an excellent selection of draft beers and lagers, served in traditional steins a selection of spirts, cocktails or the all-time yuletide favourite warm mulled wine.

Once again Winter Wonderland Stoke on Trent is being held off Lichfield Street, opposite Hanley Bus Station (ST1 3JN). Admission is free with rides available via pay-as-you-go tokens or four-hour unlimited riding wristbands.
