Port Vale to face Chelsea in FA Cup Quarter-finals

Port Vale will face Chelsea in the FA Cup Quarter-Finals next month after qualifying for the first time since 1954.
It comes after the Valiants made local history on Sunday (8 March) by beating Sunderland at Vale Park in a 1-0 turning of the tide performance.
Despite sitting at the bottom of the EFL League One, the team shocked locals by making it to the last eight of the Emirates FA Cup after winning more cup games than league games.
Port Vale will face Chelsea for the first time since 1929, after they were drawn away against the mammoth premiership side last night (9 March).
A spokesperson for Port Vale said: "Ben Waine's header against Sunderland booked our place in the final eight of the competition for the first time since 1929, with Jon Brady's side handed the current World Club Champions as our next opponents."
Unfortunately for the next stage in their FA cup journey, they will not have the home advantage and will have to face the music on a Premiership-level playing field, pitted against world class opponents.
Jon Brady's travelling contingent of valiant men will be the outright underdogs when they face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the capital city on the weekend of 4/5 April.
Brady said: "Players are proving themselves and bringing magic to the club."
