Woman dies following collision with a car in Stoke-on-Trent

Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after a woman sadly died following a collision with a car in Stoke-on-Trent.

Emergency services were called to Blurton Road, Blurton, this morning following reports of a black Kia Ceed colliding with a pedestrian.

Sadly, the pedestrian, a woman in her 50s, died as a result of her injuries.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We have deployed specially-trained officers to support her family at this difficult time. 

"Collision investigators are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident. At this stage, we don't believe anyone else was involved. 

"Anyone with any information, particularly those with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time, are asked to get in touch with us. Call 101, quoting incident 208 of 18 November, or email investigators directly using [email protected]"
