Another heatwave is upon us and there is lots going on in Stoke-on-Trent this weekend to make the most of it.

Six Towns Carnival | Hanley Park | Sun 13 July
Six Towns Carnival is back this weekend.
The organisers say there will be music, local businesses, local talent, delicious food and a family-friendly environment to celebrate the centenary in style with colourful arts and costumes. With vibes of the Caribbean in a nod to the Black British community.
It will be on Sunday from 11am in Hanley Park.
Artisan Market | World of Wedgwood | Sun 13 July
Set in the stunning surroundings of Barlaston, the World of Wedgwood Artisan Market is returning this weekend.
Between 10am-4pm you can expect unique handcrafted homewares & gifts, live music, street food, sweet treats and crafts for children.
World of Wedgwood, Wedgwood Drive, Barlaston, ST12 9ER. Free entry and parking.

Military Market | Newcastle-under-Lyme | Sun 13 July
The first ever Newcastle Military Market is this weekend.
Troops are to assemble on The Stones, Newcastle-under-Lyme Market at 10am and will be dismissed at 3pm.
There will be no kit inspection but there will be squad of military memorabilia traders, food and drinks.
Oasis Tribute | Sat 12 July
Wayne Ryles from Eaton Park, will in Meir with his epic Oasis tribute show at Swiftys on Sandon Road.
So don't look back in anger if you missed out on tickets and head over to this instead.
Entry is free and the show starts at 9pm.
Tour of Chatterley Whitfield | Sat 12 July
Tour of Chatterley Whitfield site on the restricted safe route will be on Saturday 12 July, from 11am-1pm.
The Heritage Centre (no need to book), Remembrance Garden and large Exhibition Hall will also open from 10am.
Organisers advise that children under the age of 7 are not permitted on site and there are no dogs allowed.

Summer Showcase | Fenton Town Hall | Fri 11 July
Potteries Folk Club is hosting a summer showcase in Fenton featuring four acts: Bluebyrd , Joseph Davis, KC Jones and Luned Rhys.
Tickets are £6 and you can book online or pay on the door.
It is being hosted at The Cafe, Fenton Town Hall and doors open at 7:15pm.
