Alim Beisembayev | Stoke Rep Theatre| Thur 29 Jan
Alim Beisembayev will be performing classical music at the Stoke Rep Theatre on Thursday 29 January.
The organisers said: "Since appearing here in 2023, Kazakhstan born Alim, who records for Warner Classics, has been building his career internationally as well as in the UK.
"This prize winner of the Leeds International Piano Competition stepped in for Simon Callaghan last February in our Classics Series and delivered a wonderful performance earning a standing ovation."
Tickets are available from Music Mania or online for £29. Tickets include a programme and interval refreshment.

Northern Soul Alldayer | Middleport Pottery | Sat 31 Jan
Middleport Pottery will be hosting a Northern Soul 'Alldayer' on Saturday from 10am to 3pm.
Middleport Pottery said: "Come & join DJ Sidwayne with Trax Radio UK and get ready to groove the day away with the best of Northern Soul and Motown!
"Whether you're a lifelong fan or new to these soulful sounds, this event promises an unforgettable experience filled with classic tracks, dancing and good vibes."

Daytime Disco for Grown Ups | King's Hall | Stoke | Sat 31 Jan
'Discos for Grown Ups' will return to Kings Hall, Stoke for the ninth time on Saturday 31 January from 2pm bringing music, stage dancers, and a light and laser show for all ages.
Simon Stanford, founder of Discos for Grown Ups, said: "We get loads of young people coming along, and we get older people coming along as well.
"What's great, which I love to see, is that everybody just dances together.
"Everybody knows the songs, and nobody is trying to be too cool for school. It's just a big celebration of classic dance floor hits."
Tickets are available online from £20.78 (including the booking fee).
Stoke Card Show | bet365 stadium | Sun 1 Feb
Stoke Card Show is heading to the bet365 stadium on Sunday 1 February from 10am to 4pm with competitions, prizes and activities.
The organisers said: "Discover, trade, and collect at Stoke TCG Card Show —where every card tells your story. Your World. Your Moments. Your Cards.
"Over 70 tables filled with some of the best vendors of TCG, including Pokemon, Disney, Lorcana, One Piece, Magic & more!"
There is free entry for under 10s and tickets available online at £8.30 for general and £5.04 for afternoon (including booking fees)

Light Up Hanley | Albion Square | Tue 3 and Wed 4 Feb
Message In A Bottle Kiln will be projected onto Hanley Town Hall as part of the free two-night Light Up Hanley event, presented by Creative People and Places programme Appetite, which will take place in Albion Square on 3 and 4 February from 5pm to 8pm.
The event, which is part of Appetite's Light Up Winter series, will also feature a multi-sensory musical sculpture made up of more than 200 illuminated chime bars and a five-metre-high fortune-telling fruit machine, as well as roaming performers.
