There's plenty to get up to in and around Stoke-on-Trent this weekend.

Light Up Middleport | Middleport Park | Thur 22 Jan
Light Up Winter, is a series of free immersive light installations delivered in partnership with Middleport Matters, Stoke-on-Trent City Centre BID, Newcastle-under-Lyme BID and Stoke Creates.
The first event, Light Up Middleport, will be held in Middleport Park on 21 and 22 January from 4pm to 8pm.
It will feature illuminated boxes flashing in time with residents' heartbeats, flying fish made from recycled plastic bottles and a large interactive structure where visitors can create melodies and light patterns using simple hand movements.

Nature Connect Club | Stoke Minster | Fri 23 Jan
The Nature Connect Club will return to Stoke Minster this Friday with a Wild Winter morning from 10:30am to 12:30pm, delivered in partnership with Festival Stoke.
The event will feature a range of free nature-based activities including lighting a fire, creating charcoal art and the Winter Trail.
Refreshments will be provided and children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Molotovs | The Sugarmill | Fri 23 Jan
The Molotovs will be performing at The Sugarmill in Hanley on Friday 23 January from 7pm as part of their Wasted on Youth UK tour.
The Sugarmill website says: "The London-based trio, better known as the teenage siblings bringing a taste of Mod Revival to the landscape with incendiary live performances, will be making a stop in Stoke-On-Trent on their Wasted On Youth UK Tour."
Tickets are available online for £14 (excluding booking fees).

No Favours | Riff Factory | Sat 24 Jan
No Favours will be performing at the Riff Factory on Sutherland Street, Stoke-on-Trent on Saturday 24 January.
There will also be support from Heavens Reign and Bound by Burdens
The event will run from 7pm with tickets costing £6 online (excluding booking fees) or £8 on the door.
