Comic Con

Comic Con will take place at The Potteries Centre, Hanley, on 15 and 16 July (Nub News).

A popular Comic Con event will take place at The Potteries Centre, Hanley, on 15 and 16 July. 

Superheroes and movie characters will be roaming around the shopping centre and fans will have the chance to meet Mario, Pikachu, Star Wars characters and a range of superheroes.

As well as meet and greet opportunities, there will also be stalls where visitors can buy toys, collectables, action figures, art and games.

There will also be a cosplay competition with prizes to be won for the best dressed. 

Castle Artisan 850 Special

The markets open from 10am on The Stones on Newcastle High Street (Castle Artisan).

It's the 850th anniversary of Newcastle receiving its charter!

To celebrate this historic event, Castle Artisan are working with Friends of the Guildhall for a truly special market with a medieval theme and plenty of amazing activities and performances for all ages.

The event begins at 10am on Sunday 16 July.

Phat Lads Family Fun Day

This free event takes place at Packmoor Community Centre on Sunday 16 July (Phat Lads).

The Phat Lads Family Fun Day is a free event this Sunday 16th July at Packmoor Community Centre from 1pm to 5pm. 

There will be fun fair rides, bouncy castle, sumo suits, face painting, Live DJ, craft stalls, cash bar, smash burger truck, ice cream van, live competitions and so much more - all to raise money for the Phat Lads Charitable Foundation that helps local Stoke on Trent causes and families in need.

Staffordshire Diabetics Sports Day

An exciting opportunity to learn how to manage your child's blood glucose levels during sports and exercise. 

Meet the 'experts' in the field and athletes with lived experiences of managing type 1 diabetes alongside competitive sports.

Meet other local families with children and young people with diabetes. Suitable for all ages, bring along the whole family!
