There's plenty to get up to in and around Stoke-on-Trent this weekend.

SIXTOWNS Summer Sessions | SIXTOWNS Bar at World of Wedgwood | Sat 13 Sept

This Saturday, SIXTOWNS Distillery and Bar is bringing the flavour with Get Bun'd Food Co serving stacked burgers, loaded fries, and street food favourites.

The day is soundtracked by live music from @OliviaWilkesMusic (1:30pm) and @DannyBrab (3:30pm), delivering soulful vocals and acoustic energy.

With 2-for-£14 cocktail offers, family-friendly vibes, free entry, and good times guaranteed, it's set to be the perfect weekend hangout.

100 Years 100 Faces Weekend | Hanley | Sat 13 & Sun 14 Sept

The "100 Years 100 Faces" weekend, taking place 13–14 September 2025, will honour a century of local history and heritage through a powerful new public mural.

Saturday 13th September will see city centre-wide celebrations for all to get stuck in with, featuring:

  • A vibrant centenary themed Artisan Market from 10am-4pm featuring goods from local makers
  • DJ stages playing music across Piccadilly, Fountain Square, and the Artisan Market area, with a centenary twist
  • A Kids' Art Area with easels encouraging young artists to imagine the next 100 years. Selected works will be displayed in Bethesda Gardens next year
  • Historical Walkaround Characters representing collections of historical figures, with an interactive prize trail for children
  • The "100 Makers" event at the Potteries Centre, featuring even more local shopping opportunities

The public will be able to view the completed artwork in its full scale for the first time the following day, Sunday 14th September, along with an accompanying trail map and commemorative book available to purchase later this year.

Free heritage open day | Middleport Pottery | Fri 12 Sept

Explore the unique heritage of Middleport Pottery on Friday for FREE between 10am and 4pm!

You can take a look at The Bottle Oven, Victorian Offices, Mould Store, Placing House, Steam Engine, Bath House and the 'How we lived at Harper Street' 1950's lodge located across the road at Harper Street.

Artisan Market | World of Wedgwood | Sun 14 Sept 10am-4pm

Autumn is calling at the World of Wedgwood Artisan Market on Sunday, 14th September 2025.

Expect artisan treasures, handcrafted homewares, seasonal gifts, and autumn-inspired creations from local makers, alongside comfort food, sweet treats, and street food favourites.

With live music, free kids' crafts, free entry, and free parking, it's the perfect way to spend a September day from 10am–4pm at World of Wedgwood, Barlaston (ST12 9ER).

Tickets are on sale now for Lamplight concerts on 26 September - an exciting partnership between Social Connective CIC and the City of Stoke-on-Trent Symphony Orchestra.

The setting is the awe-inspiring Stoke Minster, one of Stoke-on-Trent's most beautiful cultural landmarks.

These unique musical experiences will reimagine iconic hits from the movies, and 70s and 80s, brought to life by the rich, emotive sound of a live string quartet.
