Here are our top picks for the coming days:

Kings Coronation on the Big Screen

The free event is open to everyone and will be open from 10am (Smithfield).

A large-scale screening of the King's Coronation and Community Family Fun Day is set to take place at the Smithfield site in Stoke-on-Trent City Centre on Saturday 6 May. The FREE event is open to everyone and will be open from 10am with the Coronation Ceremony starting from 11am.

Activities include face painting, stilt walking flower makers, and food and drink vendors on-site. The recently revamped urban beach will also be open at Smithfield to enjoy on the day.

The Hilton Hotel and other bars and restaurants in Piccadilly will also be open for food and drinks, or you are welcome to bring your own picnics and enjoy this historic occasion with family and friends.

Mini Music Festival

The free event will take place at The Red House, Caverswall (Red House).

The Red House Caverswall are hosting a mini music festival to celebrate the coronation of King Charles. 

Live music on the car park from 3pm and street food will also be available.

Coronation Park Party

The free event takes place at Hanley Park on Monday 8 May (Hanley Park).

Hanley Park will be hosting a fantastic FREE day of entertainment with the King's Coronation Party. 

Come along from 11am until 3pm and see the following acts:

  • Rosie Edwards acoustic performance (11am - 11:45am)
  • Cherry Groove (12pm - 12:45pm) 
  • Brown Sugar Duo (1pm - 1:45pm)
  • Wartime duo The Sweethearts (2pm - 3pm)
