Two suspected drug dealers arrested after drugs and cash found in car in Tunstall

Police have arrested two suspected drug dealers after finding cocaine and hundreds of pounds worth of cash in a car in Stoke-on-Trent.

Just before 2pm on Tuesday (27 February) officers stopped and searched an Audi S3 on James Brindley Way, Tunstall. They found cocaine, worth around £500, and £450 in cash.

A further quantity of drugs were then discovered on a man in custody.

A 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were both arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine (Staffordshire Police).

A 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, both from Stoke-on-Trent, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine.

Both men have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
