Man from Stoke-on-Trent arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

A man from Stoke-on-Trent has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after bullet holes were found in a front door in the city last month.

At around 9.30pm on Monday 15 January, two loud bangs were heard outside a home on Bishop Road, Chell Heath.

A number of bullet holes were found in the front door of the home but thankfully, nobody was injured.

Yesterday (28 February), a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

He was questioned in custody and has been released on conditional police bail with strict conditions.
